Portsmouth, R.I. – April 1, 2014 – Hunt Yachts LLC is proud to announce the appointment of Capt. Sean P. Hickey as Regional Sales Director for the Southeastern U.S. and the opening of the new Hunt Southeast Sales & Service Office in Stuart on Florida’s Treasure Coast. This expansion is part of the strategic plan developed following Hunt’s acquisition by Scout Partners, parent of the Hinckley Company, in September 2013. The new Hunt office is within the Hinckley Stuart Service Center, renowned for excellent service, repower and repair to mariners for decades.
We are purchasing the boat from Montauk Yacht Sales in Freeport, NY. It's current name is "Seven" and it is a 2007. Surveys are ongoing with weather delaying things a bit.
Portsmouth, R.I. – January 31, 2014 – Hunt Yachts LLC is proud to announce it is building its largest model yet: the Hunt 80' Sport Motoryacht. An experienced yachtsman who also owns a Hunt Harrier 25' has commissioned this new 80' Hunt flagship. Like the rest of the Hunt range of traditionally styled, elegant, functional and performance-oriented vessels, the 80' Sport Motoryacht features a hull and superstructure designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates, whose founder, Ray Hunt, invented the deep-V hull. Powered by twin 1,600-bhp diesels mated to Hamilton water-jet drives, the new 80' is projected to have a top speed in excess of 31 knots – combined with a draft of just 4 feet. It is due to launch in the summer of 2015.
Designed for maximum performance and fun; minimum maintenance. Competitively priced, ready to launch complete with stereo, Garmin Plotter and Volvo 320HP Gas I/O at $165,000
“As the 2014 model year begins, we have major news to deliver,” said Hunt Yachts’ President Peter Van Lancker. “I am delighted to announce that through the acquisition of Hunt Yachts, Inc. by Scout Partners, LLC.; we were able to effect the relocation of Hunt Yachts Chesapeake, our direct sales office for the Mid Atlantic headed by our longtime associate Todd Taylor from Annapolis back to Oxford, Maryland. ”
