With its flybridge and custom sundeck in place, you can now see the Hunt 80's final profile.  Once the faring is complete, the yacht is ready for paint. She is on target for a May completion and sea trials in Rhode Island in June.

Peter visited us earlier this year and spent the day on the water with Hunt President Peter VanLancker, running the Harrier 25 Sport on Narragansett Bay near Hunt's Rhode Island headquarters. Building the Hunt 80: Taking Shape Inside and Out

The aft deck is taking shape on the new Hunt 80. The main engines and generators will soon pass through the deck hatch for installation in the engine room directly below. A cockpit al fresco dining area will be created aft by the forward-facing settee (top area of photo) and a similar aft-facing unit that will be placed near the engine room hatch. Outboard to either side are engine room inlet plenums hidden inside the integral storage cabinets (white) seen here. The area is well protected from rain and sun by the hardtop extension overhead.
